Aberystwyth Chinese New Year Festival

On February 17th and 18th of 2007 Aberystwyth celebrated the Chinese New Year.

The festival went really well: there was a really large turnout, the weather was just right and all the performances were fantastic.

2007: The Year of the Pig

The festival was held on two days. Saturday was the day of the parade and a variety of performances. On Sunday the Aberystwyth Arts Centre was filled with food, lots of lovely jewelry and souvenirs, and of course many colorful performances throughout the day. The festival closed with a firework display.
